Can I track channels I do not own?
Yes. Any public YouTube channel can be added. Channel Radar uses the YouTube Data API to fetch publicly available channel and video data.
How many channels can I track?
The Free plan includes a limited channel count. Pro and Agency plans increase that limit considerably. Check the pricing page for current tier details.
Does tracking a channel require permission from the channel owner?
No. Channel Radar only reads public data available through the YouTube Data API. No special permissions or channel access are required for competitor tracking.
Can I track upload cadence and posting frequency?
Yes. Channel Radar records video publish dates so you can see how often a channel posts and whether that pattern changes over time.
What data is available per video?
For each video, Channel Radar stores the title, publish date, view count, and engagement metrics available via the YouTube Data API. Historical snapshots are stored each time you sync.
Does auto-sync use my API quota?
Yes. Every sync call draws from your YouTube API quota. The Pro and Agency plans are designed for users who need frequent or high-volume syncing and should plan quota accordingly.
